Does General IELTS reading is different than academic ?? ?

Yes, its different in a few ways.
1. It has 5 passages in total as opposed to 3 in Academic module. At 40 each, the number of questions however remain the same.
2. It is easier in terms of language and topics are of general interest.
3. When compared to the questions in Academic module , the questions seem to be trickier.
4. The marking is slightly stricter in General Reading.
