Nope. But ordering it over and over again can raise a concern to Immigration Officer(IO).

My consultant said that's before, now it should be fine.

I am waiting for my second GCMS.

Thanks,

Mintx..I quoted you by error initially..

To me it seems that PR is consular process which is immune from activities like asking for privacy notes etc. However it seems that sending unnecessary email queries and too frequent GCMS notes, do increase the work load for the VOs (I am assuming VOs get involved to some extent in the process of response in both cases) and steal some of their time answering queries/pruning notes, and this in turn would slow down CIC somewhat.

Hence judicious use of email queries and GCMS notes should be made. This would benefit all.

Generally 30-60 days are asking period for any information by CIC to either applicants or others, and I believe applicants should send request exceeding these periods and generally after processing period has elapsed. Though in some cases emails may be needed earlier.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for your reply
But I do not agree on the below bold statement, Yes for emails I agree , but GCMS notes not collected form VO. it is automatic process of collecting data form your File

You may be right...and I said same....'I am assuming VOs get involved to some extent in the process of response in both cases'.

We both are guessing/assuming...probably we would never know for sure..

Cheers

I am on my 5th GCMS notes. You can look at my timeline and I don't feel that it has caused any delay.

I guess the processing time only depends on your position in the waiting lines.
