Does everything have to be printed one sided?

I would advise one side only because they need to scan all your documents and one side would make it easier and faster for them

Do you also reference what each page is on the document checklist?
For example, on sponsor passport photocopy, do write something like "Part B, Supporting Documents for Sponsorship, #1"

I did this. I don't believe it is required though

Mine was double sided, no problems.
