Some people think CELPIP speaking is particularly tiring when compared with IELTS speaking. Others observe that some other section is easier in CELPIP than IELTS.

If you're asking whether CELPIP gives higher points for the same level of performance, the answer is No. They just use different scales. CELPIP score are directly provided in CLB terms while IELTS scores are provided on a scale of 0 to 9 and have to be converted to CLB.

If you're already at CLB 9 in each section, you are maxed out on Skills Transferability points. If not, there is room for improvement.

Yes i have CLB 9. so there is no way that it can be increased now. Hopefully by the grace of god , cut off comes to 435 in any of the next draws

Agree, the celpip speaking is ridicilous

CLB 10 would give you max points for language. CLB 9 allows you to get max points for skills transferability (if you have 3 years foreign experience or 2 years Canadian experience PLUS two or more degrees/diplomas with one being 3 years or longer.)

The most you'd get is an additional 3 points as the maximum for first language is 136.

What would help you is another certificate, degree or diploma. That would increase your score by 33 points (8 points for having Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years) and an additional 25 points under skill transferability.
