Does CIC keep record of an employer’s customer?

Hello, I am just wondering, does CIC have records for the entire customer’s for an employer?
I am working at client site in Canada on work permit since last two years.My work permit shows intra-company transfer, authorized to work at client locations.
My client is ready to give the letter on his letter head that I am working as contractor to them with my jobs and responsibilities. My employer is providing reference letters with all the required details without jobs and responsibilities. Please advise

No, of course not, CIC's "business" is immigration and citizenship, not monitoring business contracts.

So, I think what you're asking is, how do you prove the relationship between your employer and your client, is that correct?

Do you have any official correspondence related to your specific site assignment? Even email correspondence may be useful. Or a copy of the contract (perhaps your client has some such document).

Intra-company transfers can be complex! Again, my advice, which many may disagree with, seek the advice of an immigration lawyer!

Otherwise, it's speculation. My intra-company transfer was fairly straightforward as it was for the same company, just a different division/branch.

You have to be very careful - otherwise you could easily be rejected.

Who has been paying you? If you have been paid by your company and not the "client" you know you still need to file taxes in Canada, right?

The official correspondence is the reference letter provided by my employer. It states that, I am deputed to Canada branch office and assigned to work at client site. However, it does not say for which client, I am not sure if the client can provide the copy of the contract but I can request the employer to put the name of client for which I work.
My client said, they will give me reference letter on their letter head mentioning I am assigned to work at their location since XYZ date till date and will include my roles and responsibilities, which I do for them.

jsm0085: My intra-company transfer is also for the same company and deputed to Canada branch office. I get paid by employer, gets pay stub, T4 and of course I filed tax returns as well for last two years.

OKay. Well that is much clearer.

It's important to be specific, and not to make things any more complicated than they need to be!

So basically you got a work permit (intra-company transfer) from X located abroad to X located in Canada. You were paid by X Canada.

You only need a letter from the Canadian branch. Ensure it covers everything that is requested in the documents checklist and you will be A okay! X located abroad is irrelevant.

I am getting reference letter from my Canadian branch as per the documents checklist except they are not ready to include my jobs and responsibilities.
As I stated previously, I work at client location and the client is ready to give the reference on their letter head mentioning my jobs and responsibilities. Please advise if this will be okay?

It's worth a go but not ideal. Provide an explanation letter and as much other supporting documentation (within reason!) as you can.
