Does Canadian study sponsor weaken home tie for visa????

Hello guys, my wife is accepted to Royal road university Masters course. Her cousin sister (PR in CANADA) is willing to sponsor her studies. Is it true that having Canadian sponsor weakens your ties to home country...?? Plz advice

It might , since a family member is in Canada . But a distant relative isn't same as immediate family member .

If you wanna make her case strong , parents or siblings or you can finance her education .
