Hello, Recently I came across the news that Working From outside Canada is not countable for Express Entry. I stayed in the USA for over 2 months and worked from home. Do the hours I worked from Home in the USA count for 1560 hours or one year of experience in Canada? I am on Work Permit authorization. Please let me know, as I am pretty confused. Many thanks for considering my request.

They do not since you were outside of Canada. These two months will be counted as foreign work experience.

I don't understand your question. The two months you spent working outside of Canada is classified as foreign work experience and not Canadian work experience. Since it's classified as foreign work experience, it does not count at all towads the 1560 hours to get 1 year of work experience in Canada to qualify for CEC.

Your canadian work experience count has paused at the moment. It will resume after you return back to canada and start working from here.

Those 2 months will not be counted towards the 1560 hours. They would be seen as Foreign Work Experience,. Your problem now, is that 2 months FSW does not give you any points, you would need atleast 2years to get a reasonable amount of points work work experience. You therefore would need to return to Canada and resume work. If you are already back, you have to work those additional 2 months (14 instead of 12) before claiming points under CEC.
