Does Canada still require both FBI and local background reports?

i received a letter that said I met the eligibility requirements for Permanent Residence under Sposal sponsorship. It then read: Please note that a final decision will not be made until all remaining requirements for becoming a permanent resident have been met. These requirements include medical, security and background checks.
I found out that I have to get my medical updated every 6 months, so I have to redo that one, but I sent the FBI report in with my application. Is there another report that is required?

you only do medical exam if requested by IRCC......FBI report sent with application should be enough but if PCC is required for whatever reason, IRCC will inform you.

This is just a generic message that everyone gets and it doesn't mean you need to do anything else right now. If they need a new medical, they will ask. Same goes for anything else.
