Does both the spouses need to complete 730 days

Hi members,
I am planning to submit my Express Entry profile by January 2019.
We are an Indian couple in the USA on H1B and F1 visas.

I have a question relating to 730 days in Canada out of 5 years.

Does me and my spouse both have to complete 730 days in Canada OR even if 1 of us complete that time in Canada, does it makes both of us eligible for the PR renewal?


P.S - I am F1 visa and work in Buffalo, NY so it is easier for me to enter and exit Ontario, Canada.

Your PR status will be independent of your spouse's status. You both need to meet the RO.

If my spouse does not accompany me to come to Canada.
I mark in CIC application that my spouse will not accompany me.

Can I still sponsor her after 5-6 years?
(I will continue to fulfill my PR obligations!)

You do have to declare your US salary.
