Does applying in Express Entry count as applying to IRCC?

Dear Members,

I am confused about something and need your help.

I have received my ITA in FSW there is a question saying 'Has XYZ applied to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada before?' Now I did create an express entry profile before does this count as yes to this question and also during second express entry profile I did mention yes. Now what should I do? I am confused.
