Hi, I am a live in caregiver and has been working for almost a year but I have been living in Canada for 3 years, taking some courses before I got my work permit. I am thinking of visiting my family back home in December. It's said in the contract that the caregiver is allowed to have some weeks of paid vacation. I am wondering if there is any live in caregiver who ever has a vacation to their home country before completing their 2 year live in caregiver program and then go back to Canada. I believe that there won't be any problems entering Canada as long as I still have a valid visa, work permit and an employer here, right? If anybody can share the experience, I will really appreciate it.

Thank you, leycute, for your respond and congratulations on getting your TRV.
In the Family Information form, there is a section "Will (parents/siblings) accompany you to Canada?" (Yes/No). Which did you check?
