Dear All,

I want to apply to FSW with NOC 2133. my work is a broadcast engineer ;D. but i found in the NOC titles this title: broadcasting professional engineer. :o

I read that adding "professional" to your titles needs licence. I copied this from the requirments:

Licensing by a provincial or territorial association of professional engineers is required to approve engineering drawings and reports and to practise as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).

do I need to have a licence to apply with this title? ???

License is required to hold the title and work as a professional engineer once you are in Canada. It is not required at the time of PR application.

hi,
Is it mandatory to have license in india as i want to apply for express entry and there is a requirement in NOC code that a candidate must have below license.

Kindly guide. Thanks

What is your educational background and working experience? What kind of jobs did you carry out? Did you ever change the fundamental design of something? We class things as Broadcast Enginneering Technologist (college - no engineering license) or a Professional Broadcast Engineer (university and authorization of the PEO). Naturally, the more educated one is paid more. Broadcast jobs in Canada require extensive Canadian experience.
