Does a 2 year old toddler need authorisation letter?

Im willing to visit my brother who is Permanent resident
And i should take my 2 year old toddler with me
So do we need authorisation letter for my kid too?

Both me and my son have valid visitor visas

Your son is not eligible and not considered immediate or extended family of your brother. He can travel when restrictions are lifted.
