I sent my documents on Dec 5 2104 for NOC 2132 (Mechanical Engineer), in category Federal Skilled Workers. My aim was to get registered before start of Express Entry in January 2015.
Now in May 2015, all my documents have been returned. The accompanying letter says that I applied in NOC 2171 whose cap of 1000 applicants was already filled by the time they received the application.
But actually 2171 is the code for IT professionals. I never mentioned it anywhere in my documents. Instead I clearly put down 2132 (Mechanical Engineer) as my occupation.
Please advice whom should I contact regarding their mistake?
If they refuse to do anything then would it will be helpful to get services from any lawyer?
