I work in Montreal under the Global Talent Stream (GTS) program ("highly skilled worker"). As far as I learned that means that my wife (she is US citizen) can easily apply for an open work permit (even at the airport upon entry). She will be coming alone.
Now I am curious which documents are required for her? In particular since I cannot be with her at the time of entry.
Of source, she will need her passport and proof of marriage (marriage certificate).
Shall I give her my official work permit?
Or a copy?
Anything else?
What shall she say/fill out at the border?
