Hi there. I have recently been sent an email from the High commission of London requiring extra documents, stating they have difficulty tracking my medical records, and needing other documents such as a copy of my husband's decree absolute from previous marriage and so on. We sent the documents off by Canada post with a tracking record. I was just wondering could I have just emailed back the information attaching documents or is by post better? Shall I send attached scanned documents via return email as well or will that be confusing to my application? Any suggestions appreciated thank you :)

Did they require originals or copies? If just copies, there is no harm in sending them by email as well, just inform them you also sent the copies by mail.

Thanks for your swift reply. After reading the letter again I realise one document needed was a copy but another required was a signed declaration of non- examination for my son so I think that post was probably the way to go. I suppose I could email the documents as well like you said :)

Hi Ellie,

You are on the London spreadsheet which I help maintain. Link is in my signature. Could you provide the date and a list of the documents/forms CIC asked for?

Also when you check ECAS under the permanent residence section does it say you are in process? If so when did ECAS update to say you are in process? (not the date it says but the date it changed to say you are IP).

Thanks,
Andrew

Hi Andrew.
I will inbox you with details shortly,
As far as I can see on ECAS it's not showing In process yet, but hoping it will soon.

Hi Andrew. I sent you an email to your inbox regarding documents for updating spreadsheet but not sure it worked as doesn't show up in my outbox. let me know thanks :) My application is now showing- In process.
