Hey guys, i am sponsoring my wife soon and i have a question about my passport. I am a PR and my passport is expiring in less than a month. Does CIC require it to be valid for a year or so ? Any help is much appreciated

if you are only a PR in canada and not a citizen, arent you always meant to have a valid passport?

A passport is only needed to travel back to my country. PR card is enough here...

Outland or Inland is going to be the sponsorship??? i think if is Outland you need to have it valid.

If you are not to travel very soon, you don't need a valid passport at all only sponsored spouse need it, simply keep a copy of your passport to send with your citizenship application. Otherwise no query at all,my passport was way expired when i applied for citizenship and didn't cause any problem.

That's right, you will only send a copy of your PR to verify your immigration status in Canada,you may only send the stamped pages but it doesn't have to be valid

Thank you buddy i have a quick question about employment history. Do i have to put a job i work in for only 2 days and quit ? Thank you again
