Documents not provided by immigration officer at landing

Last week, my parents arrived to Canada under parent and grandparent sponsorship program. They have not given any document by the immigration officer. Is this fine? Are they suppose to get copy of Record of Landing or Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CoPR)? If yes, what can be done to get it?

Please help.

The COPR is something that should have been sent to them along with their passports and visas (if required).
