Do I need to have health insurance in order to get work permit stamp upon arrival at immigration? I have a work Visa and I will be traveling soon.

Do I need to have health insurance in order to get work permit stamp upon arrival at immigration? I have a work Visa and I will be traveling soon.

I don't believe that it's mandatory but for provinces that delay coverage, it makes sense to have insurance for the delay period (3 months in Ontario for example).
