Hello All,

I am a phd student and working as a Research assistant, so I do not have a work permit but have a legal authorization from my University to work as a research assistant under study permit. So I will not be able to provide them work permit.

Do we have to provide an explanation for the documents that we are unable to provide it to Immigration.

Please advise!!!

Thanks
Bhuv

Students working on campus usually do not require a work permit. As long as your employer is willing to back you that it is paid work, and you can accumulate 3900 hours of work within 3 years.

I'm assuming you are going through CEC under the skilled worker stream as you do not have a post graduate work permit.

Thank you Gents,

I am submitting my student permit and a contract from employer which says that I am authorized to work as a Research Assistant. Hope this makes sense :)

Cheers!!!
