Document Upload - File size

Hi All,

I am having issues w.r to file size. I combined multiple files using a virtual PDF printer and now my file size is 12MB. I zipped it to reduce to <4MB.

Has anyone uploaded zip files and had any issues?

my file size was 16 mb and i compressed that pdf to 3.8mb in order to meet the 4mb limit. but make sure documents are visible. as i tried and and initially it was not good. so what i did i split that file and compressed and unimportant pages and that merged it again....

so make sure its visible and letters do not overlap and logos or images are visible in that file..

Should the documents be scanned in color?
I have so many pages it is impossible to fit them in 4 MB if they should be scanned in color!

The colour really doesn't matter, as long as ur content is clear. How many pages do u have in ur single file. I was easily able to compress 40pages into one file and all the content was clear.

try using primo pdf

-install primopdf
-go to original pdf and go to print, choose primo pdf from the printer list and print it.
-use the default options, it will compress the new pdf but lowers the resolution so make sure documents are readable.

or you could try scanning it at a lower dpi

Acrobat can drop the file size down significantly as well.

What do you guys think about the security of online pdf editors? These documents can worth a lot for criminals... Am I too worried?

I have few questions on document upload.
01. What is the file limit for each document (i think it is max 4mb)?
02. What is the maximum size for all documents?
03.What about the pixels for each doc?
