Document translation

Hi Friends,
I am from Kuwait and some of my documents are in Arabic. The all required translations have been completed to English, however as per the CIC web site, we need to attach the affidavit (relation with translator) with the application forum. I am not sure about the affidavit whether it is compulsory or not. If it is compulsory what procedure should I do to get that document?. Please reply those who are completed the translation procedure.

Hi,

It is not need any affidavit.

you only require all translated copy with notarize by Notary of your country.

So don't worry about any affidavit.

Hi,

If you get the document translated at an accredited ( licensed) translator office they will do it on their letter head with their stamp and signature on it.That is enough and equal to an attestation.

If your translation is on a plain sheet of paper, done by any one who is capable of translating Arabic to English , then need an attestation.
