The person who receives any documents that you mail or upload is not the person who is handling your specific case. Therefore - this person, upon receiving your documents, first needs to verify that the documents are indeed related to your application, then once this is done they forward the documents on to the specific person handling your application so that they will then consider the information therein.

It's a standard message that only means they got your documents and have sent them on to the person responsible for processing your application.
