Hi again,

I have been a member of this group for some time now. I just wanted to clarify, especially from seniors, about the list of documents that we need to submit for the benefit of the entire group and of couse for myself. Following is the list of documents I am planning on submitting including the forms. Please correct me if I am wrong:

These are the forms. I am applying for NOC 1122 FSW.

1) Application for permanent residence in Canada (IMM 0008 - Generic)
2) Schedule 1: Background/Declaration
3) Schedule 3: Economic Classes
4) Additional Family Information
5) Fee Payment
6) Checklist document

Following is the list of document (Notarized photocopies to be submitted)

As proof of experience:

1) Experience letter - to verify NOC (for all companies)
2) Appointment/offer letters (for all companies)
3) Letters of appreciations (for all companies)
4) appraisal/increment letters (for all companies)

As proof of education
5) Degree certificate
6) Transcript (original)
7) Marksheets

As proof of funds
8) Bank statements
9) Letter from the bank
10) Customer status document

As proof of English
11) IELTS (original)

12) PCC (original)

Please advice on:

1) If the list of documents is fine (whether I missed anything or added too much)
2) The six forms mentioned - do we need to submit anything other form
3) Also, the only original documents to be sent are PCC, IELTS and Transcript

Any advice, of course specially senior, would be highly valuable for the entire group.

Thank you

Hi All,

especially seniors...quarax...rockyy...please give me ur thoughts on this question//.

Thanks

if ur sending these documents to local visa office then ur missing some documents like
birth certificate, employee reference letter ( original ), passport xerox copy ( all pages)

Hi,

Thanks mithun.togari, I am sending the application under the new rules (applicable after 26 June)...so i am sending the application to Syndey office...then will the list be fine or should I still send birth certificates, and original refernce letter...

And ofcourse...if u, or any other senior member, could advcie on waiting4pr's question.

Thank you

I don't see birth certificate mentioned anywhere. So as a couple, I would have to send mine and my spouse's birth certificate notarized copy?? That's new to me....

so we need not send the originl employment letters, offer letters...? notarize copies will do?

Yes! Notarized copies will suffice. I think original docs to be sent are only-
1. College Transcripts
2. IELTS score
3. PCC
4. Experience letters w/business card of the person signing the letter
5. and ofcourse the application forms

Rest of the docs can be notarized copies.

@ sbo
About Notarization: Notarization is very expensive where I live. Can it be done from my home country ( Bangladesh) to include in application package? Is it ok or I should do it from the country where I am applying?

EnvioZA-

This is what the requirement says-

To have a photocopy of a document certified, an authorized person must compare the original document to the photocopy and must print the following on the photocopy:
 „„I certify that this is a true copy of the original document‟‟
 the name of the original document
 the date of the certification
 his or her name
 his or her official position or title
 his or her signature
Who can certify copies? People authorized to certify copies include the following:
In Canada:
 a commissioner of oaths
 a notary public
 a justice of the peace
Outside Canada:
 a judge
 a magistrate
 a notary public
 an officer of a court of justice
 a commissioner authorized to administer oaths in the country in which the person is living

Here it does not specify that you have to notarize it from the country you reside in. You can get it done from back home too as long as it meets the above requirements. The person notarizing needs to be 1 of the 5 officials mentioned above. Hope this clarifies your question.

Hi, I have heard they will accept notarized copies, but I suspect this depends on the visa office and whichever official checks over your documents.

My wife has her transcript from her PhD which she is going to get a notarized copy of, and the University have sent her a letter which contains more detail than the transcript. This is in a sealed envelope but the University address is just stamped on the back (not across the seal). For our bachelors degrees the University sent us a single envelope for both of us (we both did Bachelors degrees at the same University) with a University address sticker across the seal. So we kind have to have faith that the right information is in there since we can't open it! :)

I think very few applications will have absolutely every document exactly right, some people may have difficulty getting documents etc (for example I can't get one of my post-secondary education certificates because the college is merged with another and doesn't have records going that far back).

Anyway we are submitting an additional information sheet explaining any slightly discrepancies with what they are asking for such as missing certificate etc.

But generally I think the most important thing is to make sure your application looks genuine and they have no reason to suspect any forgery or misinformation.

Wayne.
