Dear Friends,

What is meant by unincorporated business..?
for proof of income or employement point 18..

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5491E.pdf

Do i need to select yes..if i have a company(incorporated) and myself was doing contracts with employers for my company in the recent year ..

Please let me know. I am confused...

Thanks,

Question 18 appears to be solely concerned with personal income from an unincorporated business. An unincorporated business is a business you own as a person, inlcuding a business owned by a partnership in which you are a partner. Just bear in mind that in law there is a difference between a company and the person who owns shares in it: they are different beings in the law. If as I understand is the case the business you refer to is owned by your company and you simply do the work on behalf of the company question 18 appears to have no relevance and your answer should then be no.
