Hello,

I'm applying for PR just for myself, as my common law is Canadian. Do I still need my common law's medical examination, police certificate, etc. etc. ??

Thanks.

If you are applying as single, then no however if you are applying as Married/Common-Law, then Yes.

But he is Canadian, he is not accompanying me. Do I still have to provide his police verification, medical exam, etc. ?
Once you complete your ITA application, it will show you the documents that you will need to upload. So, if that checklist says, YES they need PCC and Medical of your Spouse, then you will have to upload it.

Jesus f'ing Christ.

Medicals and PCC's are NOT required for Canadian citizens.

That wasnt directed to you, rather the other couple people who have a tendency to provide wrong information.

Oh :) It's all so confusing! I haven't gotten to the part of uploading documents yet... But I just want to be prepared for all the stuff I need. Because, I have to put in my common-law's personal history, family background (he has a 5 siblings and it's so tedious), etc. So was just wondering if he'd require the other things.
But I figured he wouldn't need medicals, PCCs, etc.

Thank you :)
