I have one query related to the certification of documents from Vietnam as because my spouse is a Vietnamese we translated many of her documents including our marriage certificate from Vietnamese to english. In Vietnam Local People's Committee is authorized for any attestation or certification.
Case 1 (Certification of Document)
We got the photocopies of our documents after certification from Vietnam Local People's Committee. But the problem is the stamp and other information they writing on the certified copy is in Vietnamese and not in English.
Case 2 (Translation of Document)
Translation was done from a translating agency. After that included his seal, designation, affidavit etc. Then the translated document is send to Vietnam Local People's Committee for their stamp and sign. But the same problem that all are in Vietnamese not in english except in the affidavit where the translator sworn the promise.
So we are worried now. Please let us know whether the steps we followed are according to the rules of CIC.
