Hello All,
My parents applied for visitor visa a while back, but they got refused. So this time, i don't want to take any chances and want to apply everything by myself rather than trusting agents back in India, could any of you nice people , please help me with what docs are needed to apply?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I didnot apply from india but for my parents, we provided bank statements for 6 months, property documents, itinerary, invitation letter from my sister who lives in canada, my dad's employment letter. From my sister, she gave a copy of her property deed in canada, her NOAs, her bank statements.

Hi Manjot,

Do share the list of documents that your parents submitted + what were the reasons for refusal + how long did they intend to visit and the purpose of their visit.

Also, it's necessary to show strong ties to India.... employment/ business/property or land ownership or rental accommodation/ financials/ family ties/ any previous travel history..... what ties can your parents show?

Cheers

checkout alternate first....like T4

Don't have option than...proceed as you wrote...(for further make a covering letter mentioned the situation and for alternate options that a perfect alternate for NOA they will surely consider its better........... )

It depends on the visa office where your parents are applying from. Some visa offices require the letter to be notarized, some don't

Thats not mendatiory to do.. ..but ofcos its easy for embassy ... Mean they don't need to verify it....like adress and rest things

Please do not continue giving a one-size-fits-all kind of advice on this forum

No where mentioned that we need to submit attested copy of invition letter.. ..not in globe checklist, not even in any country local checklist.. ...........its a fact from agents to tempt things.. ..and its as well as reliable for CIC too.. ..so meanwhile its a tredition to do attest .... .thats fact My frd.. .......

I suggest you start reading up the facts on the CIC website first.

It may seem like fun to post advice on this forum.... however, people seeking genuine advice on this forum could end up with visa refusals if they follow advice that's based on incorrect information

Qus is :

Ans is.. Yes....that make ur applications reliable and easy for CIC too.

But
Without noterised invitation letter work as well.
I often see visa on passport who submitted without noterised invitation letter.
Yuh me well know why..

GUYS lets not have a wrestle match here....i will apply for my dad TRV from new delhi india...please quote if require notarised copy of invitation letter.

thanks.

@Candy20

Just to end this discussion on notarization:
It is not necessary to notarize invitation letters for TRV applications from India.... but visa offices in other countries may require notarization
