Docs received by GUARD/SECURITY STATION at London CHC (Is it usual ????)

Hi All, I have recently send my additional docs ,requested by CHC London,through Fedex,the tracking details show that my shipment has been delivered today and received and signed by "Guard/Security Station".Normally when I use to send docs to London they are normally received and signed by "Receptionist or Front Office Desk Operator".As today is not a working day in KSA and I cannot inquire from Customer Service regarding this issue, I need to ask who have recently send their docs to London ,are the security guards authorized to receive docs?
I am afraid what if my enevelope has been delivered to a wrong address?
Plz advise especially London apllicants.

Hi, People.

I am from KSA and my CHC office is Landon as you can see in my timeline.
It is the stander format they use in their delivery note received and signed by " Receptionist or Front Office Desk Operator" even they use to deliver to any office, even they hand over to security station or person on main gate. No courier service person is allowed to enter inside embassy and hand over the envelop to CHC officer or embassy staff working inside visa office.
Since the bigging I am using the FedEx service from KSA, they used to deliver on main gate security person who is responsible to check post and then send in side to respective sections.


Hope it will help you to understand now days situation. Specially in western countries and all over the world, no one is receiving any post directly in side in any official government office or embassies.

Do not get tense, relax your documents are delivered properly to CHC London.

thanks very much hmisabpk for your detailed reply.It surely gave me satisfaction, I know that due to security threats currently most of the embassies do not permit unauthorized persons to enter their premises.As I submitted my first docs more than 6 mnths back so just wanted to inquire from someone who had recently submitted his/her.
