Do You Think Buffalo will be Faster in 2010

Do you think Buffalo will be faster in Processing Applications in 2010?? What do you think??

We can all hope that Buffalo will be faster.

I have a feeling that Buffalo may not be faster, the reasons are,

1. PPl who are in US/Canada apply at Buffalo and usually keep the Canada as second option and CHC knowing this factor would probably like to issue PR to someone else who actually intends to immigrate.

2. Tons of qualified PPL applied in 2008 and all of the 2009, so they at Buffalo have truckload of documents to process , I mean to say, more then any other office has it. So, it might be the case while some see progress but ppl who applied on the last part of 2009 might need to furnish latest copies of PCC and so on which will furthur delay the process...


This is just my theory.. feel free to comment.

I think CanadaCanada is right. Other factors contributing to the delay are longer immigration times for the US greencard, the current recession and new wierd rules by USCIS and DOS which is making people jittery and resulting in them applying for Canadian immigration.

I am building some hopes that Buffalo visa office is going to speed up the process by 2010, but it is just a hope.

By the way, people who are living in canada and applying from within canada are not making canada as a second option, otherwise, they wouldn't be in canada.

I know some ppl who have applied in the year 2007 and get the PR within 8 months and 9 months... I think these new rules are not better than the previous old system for ppl inside canada especially students... I know ppl who were students and applied for PR without these new rules.

I hope Buffalo will be faster since all the application after April 2009 passed by Sydney step and are already filtered.
