Again, you're right about my situation, and for you Implied is a status - so you got your ITA when you had status. - Implied Status. You are alright for the ITA.

For the other guy, I dont know.

So when you got ITA, what's your status? Can you please also share detailed information? Write it down. People might see and help. Can't take any misleading information any more at this point.

Should be very careful when you are on the phone. Try call at different time each day and talk to different agencies as you will find out their answers vary...

my ITA was received on implied status. And two days later I lost status. So then I applied for Restoration.

Man we are really on the same boat! Two months ago I had to end my employment all of a sudden... Which caused huge loss to my boss and my clients...

I actually also invested in a business here, which has employees. I can always call my investment if i leave, but i want to make things work.. for everyone.

If u were in restoration status, and u have applied for valid status for extension than u r fine. But CIC will not make decision on ur PR file, until decision is made on ur Permit application.

hi thanks for the reply, do you mind telling me how did you get this information? And what if they reject my restoration application, will my PR application gets rejected as well?

Dao, I just wrote to you what they said. Please call yours for help and let me know how it goes mate.
cheers

my friend, i think there are errors in your last reply. Some words are missing from your post.

Status Restoration is almost the last shot.

I hope you'll get it

If rejected, I don't know if you can ask for Reconsideration.

Anyways, to avoid jeopardizing your PR application you cannot overstay if status restoration is rejected.

Other not easy chances to stay legally:
IEC (working holidays or similar)
A job with LMIA
a job LMIA exempt.
