Do you need to give IELTS at time of Application

I am applying from USA. Do you need to send in your IELTS score with your application or you can submit it at latter stage?

you should submit it when you send in your application to the visa office but it is best to take it before you submit to CIO in sydney ns even though you dont need to submit it to them. That way you know exactly what score you got and also if an applicant does badly, they can take it again before applyng.
