That's what I'm looking for. Or do you know other tools to help tracking the days?
Thx!

You can do it quite easily in Excel.

I'd echo that - excel or any other equivalent spreadsheet (eg google sheets).

Particularly useful because you can keep track of things that are in the IRCC forms for citizenship (for example) - destination, countries visited, purpose of trip, etc - in different columns. For those who travel a lot, it does make it easier thna trying to remember later.

As for the day count: if the entries/exits are entered as a date format (eg yyyy-mm-dd - no hours/minutes), a simple subtraction operation ( cell1 - cell2) gives a number (days) as the difference. You can use that however you like to get days outside Canada/inside Canada, subtract from 1095 to get days needed for citizenship app, etc.

Thx guys! I'm with you. An exel list is pretty useful. I just don't wanna work with it on my phone but I'll use it on my Computer. :)Thank you armoured, also for explaining the structure.
I'll check out the IRCC forms for citizenship.

I've found a day counter app at the app store. I find it usefull. Its a simple thing: You just fill in date and time, and it will show the days. I guess it works like the exel operation in the background.

Good news: its for free. The bad news is, its in German in did not found out how to change the language.

Google sheets is free and for most purposes is functionally identical to excel in usage, and can be used from phone and computer. Because the screen size is small, it's not very convenient, and entering formulae not fun on a phone - but entering dates etc probably fine.

The main difference from my perspective from excel is that it is 'internet native' - so as long as you're logged into your google account, the same files are identical everywhere. I don't use it much on phone but will open files to check things when needed. Also much easier to share spreadsheets with other people.

(I'm not trying to push it as a product - I use standalone spreadsheets too, different tools for different tasks)
