I am about to submit my visitor extension app since my status expires March 7. So I was double-checking the guide and saw where it said that I need to provide proof that I'm just a visitor and that I still have ties to the US.
"You must also demonstrate that your residence in Canada is still temporary."
How am I supposed to provide this when my reason for requesting the extension is listed as "Establish common law and apply for PR"?
Also one more random question. I saw on the checklist that a stamped receipt imm 5401 is needed. This doesn't apply to me if I submit online, right?
