Do we need to cross the US border while landing?

Hi all,

Today, I received the PPR email and I am going to ready for landing as soon as I will receive the COPR.

My partner is included in our application with myself and he is from Mexico and he requires a visa in order to visit US.

I am wondering if we need to cross the US border while we are landing. Because in that case, he will need to be issued the US visitor visa beforehand. Please advice. Thanks!

If you are planning to a flagpole, then you do not need to enter US.

Yes, we are planning to do that. Then we do not need to worry about the visa.
