Do we need to attend an interview at emabssy

I has applied for work permit , I already got my LMIA and all necessary documents , appointment also fixed ..can you please advise me
- its compulsary that I need to attend the interview with visa counselor for work permit?
-What is an exemption fee? If I pay this it's not required to attend an interview?

This seems a little bit suspicious. Please tell us what this job is and exactly how you got it, including how you got the LMIA. I'm concerned that you may be scammed. Have you been asked for money to acquire the job or any immigration documents?
