Hi guys

I have my wife visiting me in canada from India

Do I need to book round trip ticket for her or can I just get one way ticket from India to Canada?

I'm wondering if immigration services would bother her if they only see one way ticket on visitor visa

Let me know if anyone had experienced this

Thanks

You need a round trip ticket. Immigration isn't the problem. The airline may not let you board the plane without a return ticket.

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT

I’m from Haiti but i live in Dominican Republic, I have a boyfriend in Canada that is inviting to visit for 2-3 weeks. I’m in college here I’m missig round 2 years to finish, I have travel history, I went to USA last year for a summer work and visit different states. When I came last year on September I got a super good job where I make a enought money, I’m renting an apartment and I have a contract for 1 year to pay so even I’m there I need to keep paying. My mom and my little bro live 1 hour away from me and we see each other every weekend. We also said that I’m visiting a friend that I have there for a weekend. She also wrote a letter, and my boyfriend’s dad too.! But the main person of the invitation is him. I have 1042.00 CAD MONEY. Available for that trip my bank account is from 2 years ago and I have a lot movement from it. I apply already and gave proof of all that. What’s my possibility to get approved? Also I got denied when I get back for a visitor visa to USA idk if that will affect me.!

Honestly, probably not much chance. Your ties to Canada (boyfriend), US visa refusal, limited travel and personal funds and work stability will make it difficult to prove you do not intend to overstay in Canada. I would be prepared for a refusal.
