Do we need proof to show to get citizenship certificate urgently after oath?

I read recently an agent told someone who asked for urgent CC to attach their proof with the form they send after the oath. They used to do it by word of mouth during the oath, but now they seem to be asking for a proof. You won't know for sure until you ask the agent yourself during the oath.
I had my oath yesterday. The IRCC representative mentioned on the call - If you want your certificate to be processed urgently, attach a proof to the email you send with the Oath form which I did yesterday itself within half hour of the Oath completion. Have not heard back yet though

Probably a newbie question, but how can we book tickets without the Canadian passport?
I had a valid passport of my ex country of citizenship and a valid PR card on the basis of which I booked my travel and then later came the Oath ceremony.
