I don't have all pay stub with me w also my salary was different depending on the clients. In my reference letter my employer mentioned calculated average salary per hour because of 2 different rate I used to get .Is it ok to do that? Even when i check my T4 and divide it by number of hours i worked in an year it came out same. Please advise

No u don't need all pay stubs ...just send few with reference letter stating your salary

Here's the checklist: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5610E.pdf

It says, "Additional supporting documents may include:
- copies of work contracts
- copies of pay stubs

My understanding is these are additional documents(as in, it wouldn't hurt if you include them), but if your employment already provides all the information requested, do you need to include these two? I don't think so.

Do I need to submit T4 for 2011 too? It says recent on the CIC website.

I submitted copies of T4s for all the years in which I worked and I used that experience to meet eligibility criteria.

If you are applying in 2013, your most recent T4 and notice of assessment is from 2012 tax year.
