do we apply for a pr card or do they send it to us?

finally got my permanent residency last monday went out on the coutts border.
thank god!!! now i want to ask do we still need to apply for a pr card or do they send it to us?
please help me im gonna need the pr card on my return trip from the philippines because i will
be going back home on dec 6. plsssssss.

You don't need to apply (this happened automatically when you landed). They will mail the card to you once it's ready. Current processing times are approximately 48 business days.
