Hello,
I am a visitor to Canada and would like to extend my stay for a couple of weeks. The extension form has a UCI field, which I understand is a Universal Client ID. My question is that it seems as though a UCI is only granted to students and workers but not to visitors. Or am I wrong and if so, where would I find my UCI? If I leave that field blank on the form will my application be rejected?

Thanks for your help!

If you received a Visitor's Record then you have a UCI, but they will not reject you application if you leave it blank. If you don't have a VR once you receive your sponsorship approval letter you will have the UCI for the sponsor atleast.... once the applicant gets communication from the VO they will get theirs Good Luck!
