BCPNP-Express Entry

I submitted my Express Entry on July, 2017

I paid Permanent Resident Application Fee.

I passed the medical exam.

I asked GCMS on April which looked everything goes well..
(There shows nothing on 'Security section' → Security : )

I've been looking same web-page showing for over 9months.

and I'm still waiting for the ppr.

Are they really working on ?
Then where's my progress going?
Should I have another action or what?

It so makes me mad... people around me already took Passport request but me.
So annoying.

I'm from S.Korea.
I've traveled some countries but I've stayed only in Australia over 6months and I already gave the criminal record.
I'm Chef on my immigration document.

Are these might be the sources for the security screening?
Why?

Thailand and Indonesia do at times come in consideration for countries who are under scrutiny, not trying to say in your case it will be as well...

That's absurd!
I just only visit those countries less 5 days.
And those were even more than 3~4 years ago!
How could it be that way! So disappointing...

South Koreans are usually obligated to military service. Even if you somehow did not do it you are still very much under their radar. These days even Indians with no travel and govt background are waiting for more than 12 months. It's just a matter of waiting it out. Good luck

The absurdity is in your thinking tbh...
Security and back ground checks are normal for every immigrant entering to another country. Each country has the right to check, double check and triple check profile... there are times, your name ends up as a match with a certain flagged profile, no one can do anything about tbh...
No country will ever give you are free pass without thoroughly vetting your profile... I have seen people with PR applications running well over 2 years as well....
