when applying for a temporary visitor visa from Serbia (which then get's sent to Vienna) do all the supporting documents which are in Serbian need to be translated by a Certified English translator?
(the documents are mainly proof of ties to the country, like bank statements, proof of ownership of an apartment)
the letter or employment will be written in english and signed by the firm (which conducts business in english)

thanks in advance for your answers

Yes, it is preferable to have them in English.
I have a bank account overseas on a non-english-speaking country and I included it in my application, I mentioned that I was including the bank statements literally as I received them, and if needed I would provide any translation. What helped me here was that on my bank statements the amounts were clearly legible, so even if they did not understood the text, they could see how much money there was.

But if you can translate them before submitting that would be great.
