Do original documents get returned after COPR processed?

Hi,

For those visa offices and regions where original docs are requested for the applicant - do these get returned after COPR is issued? and when do people receive them (eg: with COPR, prior or after issue)

It's not always easy to get duplicate originals in some cases and just wondering how people went about getting originals back if the VO doesn't return them.

Hi

When original official documents are required, the VO generally returns them. When they will be returned depends on the office and the person handling the app. Some people get their stuff back before the COPR, some get it after.

If you don't receive your documents back, you would need to contact the VO.
