Hi Everybody,

I am little confused. I will try to keep it short and simple. Below is my job history
NOCSkill TypeStart DateEnd DateNumber of Months
6316BJan 2016Jun 20165
2175AJun 2016Sep 20164
2175AOct 2016Jan 20174
2173AMar 2017-present-0

I have gathered 13 months (2000 hours) in total 820hrs from NOC 6316 and 1180 from NOC 2173.

Since I have obtained one year of experience under multiple eligible jobs. Do they count as total number of years worked? Or A Year worked at one job?

If it's total number of Years worked what NOC should I put here at express entry profile creation?

Primary occupation (4 digit NOC Code) Help
This means the job Manpreet Dhami has experience in and wants to base the immigration application on. This is how we will determine your eligibility for federal programs. You will need to know the job title and the NOC for the primary occupation and for any other jobs you add, as well as for any job offer.

I want to stick with 2173 since its where I gathered more number of hours and it is my field job.

Am I eligible or do I need to wait one year?

Thanks,
-Mickey

My situation is pretty much same as you.can you please advice what primary occuption did you choose.thanks in advance

Sorry to say ,you cant . As per requirement your one year should be contimlus in the same noc.

Your skilled work experience must be:

  • in the same type of job (have the same NOC) as the job you want to use for your immigration application (called your primary occupation)
  • within the last 10 years
  • paid work (This means you must have been paid wages or earned commission. Volunteer work or unpaid internships don’t count.)
  • at least 1 year of continuous work or 1,560 hours total (30 hours per week)
