Do Language test results expire?

Do the results of a language test expire? Assuming no....but want to make sure. I did the CELPIP in January 2015 and still have my test results.

For citizenship they do not expire, only the PR needs a recent proof of language

Typically two years. CELPIP states that it is considered two years by "various" institutions.
