Hi all,
International applicant here.
My duties match the NOC 32120 lead statement and about 8 out of the 10 main duties (tests, analysis, equipment operation, reports, QC). I also have a solid reference letter confirming these responsibilities.
However, I do not have the qualifications listed in the job requirements section of the NOC:
No 2–3 year MLT program
No CSMLS certification
No provincial registration
I only have a bachelor’s degree in biology (which is enough in my country)
Questions:
Do IRCC officers check the “job requirements” section?
Is it possible to receive an ITA or PR under NOC 32120 without CSMLS certification, a license, or an MLT diploma?
Do IRCC request proof of these credentials or education during the process?
I know I would need a license to work in Canada. My plan was to complete those requirements after obtaining PR, since the process can take time and may require being a resident first.
Thanks for any real experiences!
