I need help/advise on my application.
I have already submitted my visa application. However, upon random review of it, I realized I stayed a few days shy of six months in the United States on a tourist visa in 2008 (Entered on October 22, left the US on April 17). Will the embassy ask me for an FBI clearance, when it just states on the CIC website that I may need it if I stayed in the US 6 months or more? Also this trip was already more than 5 years ago.
I'm worried that this might cause a delay in my application. I have already started the process but it takes 13-15 weeks processing to get the clearance.
Anyone with a similar experience? Would really appreciate some feedback.
