In the guide from applying for a work permit ("Guide 5487") there is a section describing what qualified as a "true certified copy". But it doesn't say anywhere which copies need to be true certified copies. Should for instance my university diplomas or the documents I provide to prove that I am in a common law union with my partner be certified by a notary? (I know the "statuary declaration of common-law union" form needs to be certified, but also the supporting documents?)
