Do I need to wait for my Visitors Visa before sending my PR off?

Hi,

I am wondering whether or not I need to wait for my new visitors visa to come through before I send of my PR application. I have reapplied for my visitors & I have implied status until the CIC make a decision on whether or not to give me my visitors visa.

Part of the PR application asks for my current visa & since I don't have the new one yet, do I wait for it to come through before sending my PR application?

I would like to know what you did as I am in a similar situation? I am thinking the best would be to apply for the extension and include that proof with your PR app and also perhaps explain it on a letter?

Since you have re-applied for your visitor visa extension (or status), you just show `visitor' under the visa section.
